Swansea Village
Swansea is the only Toronto neighbourhood that has its own community run Town hall. It is also the only neighbourhood to have a lake, a river and a pond as its natural boundaries (Lake Ontario, Humber River and Grenadier Pond). First Nations were the first people to inhabit Swansea for hundreds of years before Swansea became Swansea.
Real Estate in this community is more affordable than other areas within Toronto West. Price ranges between the mid 200s to over 1 million. Swansea also contains a large number of bungalows and semi-detached homes. A cluster of rental apartment buildings line the south end of Swansea down Windermere Avenue.
